At Hunt Community Early Learning Centre, we respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, recognising their enduring connection to the land, water, and community. We honour and integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures into our programs, fostering understanding and respect among all children.
We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every child, family, and educator feels valued and supported. Our centre promotes a sense of belonging through respectful communication and collaborative relationships with families, recognising parents as a child’s first teachers.
We uphold the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which recognises that all children have the right to be heard, to be protected from harm, to learn, and to grow in environments that support their wellbeing. As part of our commitment to safety, we also support online safety and digital wellbeing. As children begin to encounter technology, we promote safe and responsible digital practices, working in partnership with families to guide children’s healthy engagement with digital tools and environments.
